NSW Health Sexual Assault Services provide free and confidential medical and counselling support to anyone in NSW who has experienced sexual assault, and their non-offending supporters. Many services are co-located in regional hospitals.
- Services to clients/patients: crisis and ongoing counselling; a specialised medical service and collection of evidence for legal purposes; support for non-offending family members; advocacy; and court preparation, court support and court reports
- Services for professionals include training, consultation, networking, interagency forums
- Services to community include education, awareness raising, prevention.
